The Theory on Obama, Hope, and Change!

We need to put things into perspective, especially for the youth. This is not American Idol, this is politics. This is serious business. A nation's future is at stake and so are American lives. Now the nation has made a publicity stunt of this "momentum" that Presidential candidate Barack Obama has brought upon us. Furthermore, politics today are treated in the manner of "American Idol" rather than true original politics. This blog's purpose has strictly one factor, and that is to convince and prove to the public he is not the ideal presidential candidate you think he is and this force of momentum needs to be eliminated.

First and foremost you have to ask yourself questions about a candidate, you can't be foolishly sucked into their false hope speeches without asking yourself "Are they really capable of this? Do you know anything about this candidate? Do they really have the background to lead a nation? Are they knowledgable enough to put their words to action?". Obama HAS NOT BEEN TESTED. How can you depend on a leader at this critical time in our nation when they have not been tested and do not have the experience? Yes, the public wants a fresh face, Yes, the public loves to see history made during their lifetime, but those factors are the last thing a person should be thinking about when handing their country into the hands of one being.

The strongest candidates out of both sides who have the most experience are Hillary Clinton, Bill Richardson, and John Mccain. It is sad to see Governor Richardson drop out of the race, but he gave it a great run. Ron Paul, as liberal as he is as a republican, he does have a reasonable argument to fight for. Also, don't leave Mitt Romney out in the cold because he has potential and a lot more experience than some of the other candidates. What does experience mean when our current president is making the mistakes we didn't want to see happen, you might say? Experience has A LOT to do with anything. From decision making, to war tactics. Experience does not represent Status Quo, experience represents leadership and a knowledgeable person in that field. Remember, It's not the experience to blame, it's the person behind the experience. What you need is the right person to bring about that experience in the beneficial form. Confused or too much political talk? Then let's speak realistically, especially for the youth because I feel the youth really need to sit down and educate themselves on politics before jumping on the "facebook bandwagon". Just think about this, and answer the question honestly and truthfully, would you choose Tom Brady or Vince Young as your Quarterback to lead your team into victory? Tom Brady (Experience) represents Hillary Clinton. Vince Young (Youth) represents Barack Obama. The team (Us) represents America. Victory (Change) represents the betterness for the economy. Basically what this comes down to is Experience vs Youth! Now you might think this example is foolish, some might even call it irrelevant. But ask yourself, how do the specifics in this example differ from our current position of candidates besides the fact of gender? You have experience vs youth, white vs black, hated on vs young hope. Now to me, gender and ethnicity... let me say it again, ETHNICITY... should play absolutely NO PART in your decision when selecting a candidate. That is just racist, prejudice, and irrelevant.

The bottom line is if you have no experience in leadership, how can you convince me your going to keep my country safe, secure, and financially progressing? Also, like I had previously mentioned earlier, gender has the least bit to do with being president. Women are one of the most strongest living things on this Earth. A woman can do just the same job as a man can do, if not better. If a woman can raise a family, she can raise a country. Being a mom is by far the hardest job in the world. Man was born by Woman, Man was brought up by woman, Man was taught by woman. If a woman can do all that, people people people... a woman can certainly run a country. Furthermore, change is not made by hopes or words, it's made by action. Being a senator for 2 years doesn't necessarily give you the experience. If Obama were a Governor, then you can fight the argument saying he has 2 years of leading a state under his belt. If Obama had waited 4 more years to gain more political experience, he would be unstoppable. I must say I cannot blame the voters for who they choose simply because the media has turned this political race into a circus act. Moreover, when celebrities like Oprah Winfrey and Chuck Norris get involved into politics, it seems as an act for promotion that will only benefit themselves. No offense to Oprah, but there are only two reasons why she is choosing to side with Barack Obama, #1 he is African American, and #2 he represents the state where she is from, Illinois. It's interesting how on television Oprah portrays to be all for women, and nothing less, yet supports democrat when she has similar views to those of a republican. I have nothing against Miss. Oprah Winfrey, everyone has a right to express their opinion, but needless to say when Oprah was seen on the Ellen Degeneres show clearly stating that she has no interest in politics and decides to stay out of it like a lot of American's tend to do so, she is obviously contradicting that statement now with her current actions.

As I talk to society and the public, I ask them if they are voting, and if so, who for? They tell me Senator Obama. I ask them why? They tell me because he is cool, and he is black, and this country needs a black president. I ask more people the same question, and they tell me they are voting for him because of the change, and because he is a great speaker. Not one single person can explain a REASONABLE QUALIFIED answer for why they are voting for him. I've NEVER heard anyone saying they are voting for him for his policies, for his ideas, or for his poltical experience. All I keep hearing is Change! Well lets put the truth out there to the American public, regardless of who takes office, Republican or Democrat, WE WILL HAVE CHANGE. Change is a given factor for the next president after the Bush Administration's horrible job of presidency. Change is not the battle to fight for, it's who can bring about that change in the best shape, form, and manner.

America, Hope does not exist within one candidate, in fact, it doesn't exist within ANY of the candidates. Hope exist within you! Hope is something that we, Americans, carry within us. We create Hope! We do not need a president to provide us or reassure us with Hope, we already have it within us! If we have Hope, we don't need someone to tell us it, we need someone who can see our hope, and make our hope visible by speaking it through their own voice and actions! Just remember that Hope rest within you, America!

There are 3 things that both Republican and Democrat need to stop speaking about... John F Kennedy, Martin Luther King Jr, and Ronald Reagan. NOT A SINGLE CANDIDATE, not one, represents any similiarty or even an inch of truth those 3 men had. Nor do they have the commitment those 3 men had. Do you want to know how to succeed candidates? A piece of advice, BE YOURSELF!!! The public doesn't want to see an imitator or replica in office, they want to see authenticity and originality. If we, America, really wanted imitation, we would've elected K-Fed to be president for his struggle to be like Eminem. America want's a president who can be remembered by their own name, not by an idol they were trying to be like. Isn't that the truth!

To conclude this blog, I want to assure the public that I have nothing against Senator Barack Obama. In fact, I think he is an amazing speaker and very charismatic. He is definitely a likable guy. But, the flaw to that is you don't want "buddy" material running the country, you want "colonel" material. Being president of the USA is a huge job, and you have to be ready. Barack Obama is just not ready.
